Celebrating Stanford’s Scholar-Athlete Heritage

Hail, Stanford, Hail

A Stanford scholar-athlete is more than just an athlete.  But even beyond being balanced both academically and athletically, a Stanford scholar-athlete has interests and dreams that extend beyond the court or classroom.  For me, one of these passions is music.  Although people are often a little surprised at first when I take the floor at Maples Pavilion and belt out the national anthem, my love for music started at a young age when I joined my school choir in fourth grade.  Since then, I’ve been involved in a musical, joined two bands, and even tried to produce a few recordings. It’s amazing how the Stanford community has supported me and given me opportunities to become not only a better scholar-athlete, but also a more well-rounded person.  I hope you enjoy this version of “Hail, Stanford, Hail.”
